To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions how many people were (a) referred to Workstep for support in retaining their existing job in each year in which the scheme operated and (b) referred to Work Choice since 2010.

The Department did not collect data about individuals who have been referred to Workstep for support to retain their existing job.

In line with UK Statistics Authority guidance, we will be publishing official statistics on referrals to Work Choice in spring 2012.
