To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills if he will take steps to ascertain what has become of the letter from him to the right hon. Member for Manchester, Gorton with regard to Mr D. Wightman, which his Department sent on 17 October 2011, but which has not reached the right hon. Member for Manchester, Gorton.

All letters from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills to the House of Commons are delivered by Government Mail.

I can assure the right hon. Member that the letter would have been delivered in that manner.

The movement of letters within the House of Commons is not within the control of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

A further copy of the letter of 17 October 2011 has been sent electronically and in hard copy to the right hon. Member's office.
