To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how much her Department spent on hospitality for events hosted by each Minister in her Department in each of the last 12 months.

As part of the interviewing for the new Metropolitan Police Commissioner, the Secretary of State for the Home Department, my right hon. Friend Mrs May, provided a working lunch at a cost of £32.83.

No other events have been hosted by Ministers of the Home Department where hospitality has been provided; this excludes the de minimus levels of expenditure on teas, coffees and light refreshments.
