To ask the Secretary of State for Justice what the average Energy Performance Certificate rating is of the prison estate.

The average Energy Performance Certificate rating of the prison estate is based on Display Energy Certificates (DEC) assessments of energy use in occupied buildings.

The average DEC rating of the prison estate is 90.08 (sample size 131 sites).
