We will be launching an accelerated process for the selection of CCS projects as soon as possible. The Department is holding an Industry Day on 16 December to provide further information on the CCS programme. Sponsors and developers of proposed CCS projects, power generators, CO2 transport infrastructure providers, oil and gas field operators and independent operators, and CO2 capture technology providers are invited to contact the Office of Carbon Capture and Storage if they wish to attend.
