To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what discussions his Department has had with the Department for Transport on the potential for greater use of his Department's rail infrastructure in and around Bicester following the re-opening of the east-west rail link between Oxford and Milton Keynes.

Ministry of Defence (MOD) officials are in discussions with the Department for Transport for the utilisation of the rail network at the MOD site in Bicester.

The Department for Transport is supportive of the MOD's proposals including retention and exploitation of rail connections.
