To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what the average duration of work experience placements has been since January 2011.

This information is not available. Work experience placements are expected to last for a period of between two and eight weeks, with an optional extension to up to 12 weeks if the employer decides they would like to offer the participant an apprenticeship and that offer is accepted.
