To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government whether any senior staff in (a) his Department and (b) its Executive agencies and non-departmental public bodies are paid by means of payments to a limited company in lieu of a salary; and if he will publish his policy on such payments.

No senior staff in the Department for Communities and Local Government (either in the Department, its Executive agencies or non-departmental public bodies) are paid by means of payments to a limited company in lieu of a salary. The Department does not have a formal policy in relation to this issue.
