To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many visas were issued to people (a) known to have and (b) subsequently discovered to have a criminal conviction in their country of origin in each of the last five years.

No figures are held for visa applicants known to have a criminal conviction in their country of origin or subsequently discovered to have a criminal conviction in their country of origin after the visa had been issued. It is not possible to provide a breakdown.
