The Government have a range of policies that each has their own targeting methodology in line with their objectives. For example, the Regional Growth Fund is targeted on, in particular, those areas and communities that are currently dependent on the public sector to support them make the transition to sustainable private sector-led growth and prosperity.

The Government have no plans to introduce a targeted support for business as proposed in the question.
