To ask the Secretary of State for Defence why the conduct of the Commanding Officer was excluded from the terms of reference of the investigation into bullying in the case of Captain McLeod of Oxford.

As I explained in my letter of 29 September to the right hon. Member on this matter, I cannot comment on this case while internal processes are ongoing.

However, I can confirm that the individual concerned and his Assisting Officer are being kept fully informed of progress in relation to the internal processes.
