To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer when the holder of his Office lost the prerogative power ceded to his predecessors by the Privy Council to reward informers in revenue cases.
HM Revenue and Customs are empowered to pay rewards by virtue of Section 26 of the Commissioners for Revenue and Customs Act 2005.
