To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how much his Department spent on the two regional routine maintenance contracts in Northern Ireland in each year since 2003.

The two term contracts for maintenance and minor new works in Northern Ireland commenced in 2006. Total spend since then is shown in the following table.

2010-11 19.2

Information prior to the setting up of the term contracts in 2006 is not held centrally and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
