To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change when he expects to receive the Office for Nuclear Regulation's first report on the state of security in the civil nuclear industry and the effectiveness of security regulation; and what plans he has to distribute the report.

The latest report was published on 21 November 2011 and is available in the House Library and on the Health and Safety Executive's website. The report states that, for the period it covers, the civil nuclear industry applied the relevant security regulations in accordance with the standards required of it and that those regulations achieved the purpose for which they were designed.
