To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Lord Hill of Oareford on 31 October (WA 222), whether they will continue their policy of providing funding for employers' contributions for members of public sector pension schemes which open their membership to non-public sector employees.

There are a limited number of non-public sector employers that have access to public service pension schemes. In these circumstances, employers and employees pay pension contributions for the pension benefits that are earned. Employer contributions are not directly funded by the Government.
