To ask Her Majesty's Government what is their latest estimate of the cost of implementing their proposals for individual electoral registration.

The individual electoral registration White Paper published on 30 June 2011 estimated the costs of the move to individual registration as £108 million. We have dropped the previous Government's plans for a voluntary phase leading up to the introduction of individual electoral registration, saving £74 million.
