To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Lord Howell of Guildford on 15 November (WA 121), what is their assessment of the statement referred to, as reported in The Anguillian newspaper of 30 September.

We have seen the statement reported in the Anguillian newspaper on 30 September. The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth office, my honourable friend Mr Bellingham had a positive dialogue with the honourable Hubert Hughes, the Chief Minister of Anguilla at the annual ministerial meeting with political leaders from the overseas territories on 23 and 24 November. They agreed to continue to work closely together to tackle the challenges that Anguilla faces.
