1,786 ex-service personnel have applied to join the scheme since the Royal British Legion launched the Be the Boss Scheme in June 2010. On 17 November I met with a number of participants in the scheme. On that occasion I also announced that the eligibility criteria had been extended, meaning that all ex-service personnel can now take advantage of the support offered by the scheme.
