To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills

(1) how much of the budget allocated to the Renewables Training Network he estimates will be spent in Scotland;

(2) what discussions he has had with (a) the Scottish Executive, (b) Scottish universities, (c) Scottish colleges and (d) businesses in Scotland on the formation of the Renewables Training Network.

The Renewables Training Network receives public funding from the Growth and Innovation Fund, alongside matching employer investment. Department for Business, Innovation and Skills funding for skills covers England only and the scope of Growth and Innovation Fund projects reflects that.
