To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what recent discussions she has had with the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on the building of houses in areas prone to flooding.

The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and I have regular discussions with the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government and his ministerial team. Our officials also meet regularly to discuss a wide range of issues.
