To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many times operational freedoms at Heathrow airport were deployed in the latest period for which figures are available.

During the period 1 November, when the trial began, and 21 November 2011, Tactically Enhanced Arrivals Measures (TEAM) were deployed on 1, 4, 5, 17 and 18 November as part of the operational freedoms trial. In total, the operational freedoms version of TEAM was used to land 51 aircraft on the runway designated for departures during this period.
