To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Baroness Northover on 31 October 2011 (WA 213-14), what percentage of the annual funding for the Department for International Development they estimate reaches projects on the ground.

The total amount spent by the Department for International Development on projects and programmes in 2010-11 amounted to £7,476 million. The amount of loss identified in 2010-11 amounted to £1.19 million of which £1.085 million was fully recovered. This amounts to 0.02 per cent of total expenditure.
