To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change if he will estimate the number of solar PV systems which will have been installed, commissioned and submitted for accreditation to a feed-in tariff licensee before 12 December 2011.

We estimate that by 12 December 2011, a total of approximately 130,000 solar PV installations will be eligible for feed-in tariffs (FITs). This estimate is uncertain and depends on projected growth between now and 12 December.
