To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs when she expects to announce plans to take forward the statement of principles for flood insurance after it concludes in 2013.

We are working closely with the insurance industry to ensure that flood insurance remains widely available in England after the Statement of Principles expires in 2013, and will provide an update on this work before Christmas.
