To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what recent discussions she has had with airport operators on the extension of the trial of the swabbing of religious and cultural headgear to all airports in the UK.

Officials engage with airport operators on a regular basis. However, the trial of alternative screening processes for headgear is a voluntary one so the decision on whether to participate is an operational matter for individual airports. Most major UK airports have decided to participate.
