Northern Ireland written question – answered at on 19 October 2011.
To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what recent discussions he has had with the Northern Ireland Executive on the devolution of powers in relation to corporation tax.
I discussed corporation tax, among other matters, with the First and Acting Deputy First Ministers yesterday. They will nominate Ministers to a Working Group chaired by my hon. Friend the Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury which will clarify the key outstanding issues that need to be resolved in advance of decisions on whether to proceed. We expect the group to meet first in early November.
