To ask the Secretary of State for Justice how many people were found to be in possession of drugs on unpaid work sites between 1 April 2010 and 31 March 2011.

The National Offender Management Service maintains a record of incidents which occur on unpaid work sites. This data is not able to identify incidents which may have involved the illegal possession of drugs. If an offender was suspected of being in possession of drugs while undertaking unpaid work the police would be asked to attend the work site.
