The Government recognise the critical importance of investment in infrastructure to economic growth. To support this, the Government are currently identifying nationally significant economic infrastructure projects, including across communications, transport and energy, that will be given priority status. Details of the projects and the support that will be given to these infrastructure priorities will be announced before the end of 2011.
