House of Lords written question – answered at on 12 October 2011.
To ask Her Majesty's Government what departmental telephone calls were made by (a) the Secretary of State for Transport, (b) the Minister of State for Transport and (c) the Permanent Secretary of the Department of Transport, on 15 and 16 June 2011; and at what times those calls were placed.
Ministers and civil servants make many telephone calls which are not routinely logged. Any records of calls which may be held by the department would not normally be made public.
