To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what estimate she has made of the costs to police authorities of implementing a badger cull; and what advice her Department has received from the Association of Chief Police Officers on this matter.

The Home Office is working closely with officials in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the Association of Chief Police Officers on this matter in order to produce an estimate of costs to police authorities.
