To ask the Secretary of State for Justice what process his Department follows for the production of regulatory guidance; and how many officials of his Department were involved in the production of such guidance on the last date for which figures are available.

Guidance is produced by my Department when users need information to be confident that they can comply with the law. Guidance is compliant with the code of practice on guidance and is tested with stakeholders so that it is comprehensive and meets user needs.

Figures are not available on the number of officials involved in the production of guidance.
