To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport what steps the Government is taking to increase female participation in (a) individual and (b) team sports at (i) junior and (ii) senior age ranges.
Sport England has strategic plans to deliver increased participation among women through the Women's Sport and Fitness Foundation (WSFF) which encourages girls and women to participate in sports.
