To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs on what date she expects the oral vaccine against tuberculosis in badgers to be available; and if she will make a statement.

An oral badger vaccine is in development but is still many years away. It is therefore not possible to say with any certainty if and when an oral badger vaccine might be available for use in the field.
