To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what estimate he has made of the carbon dioxide emissions from his Department in (a) June 2010 and (b) June 2011.

The carbon emissions resulting from energy use in the Department for International Development's UK estate for June 2010 was 286 tonnes. The corresponding figure for June 2011 was 214 tonnes.
