The policy of the Department is to consider, on a case-by-case basis, the inclusion of apprenticeships or other training requirements where it is appropriate and relevant to the contract and consistent with value for money. The Department is also establishing a Ministerial Apprenticeships Champions Group to promote the apprenticeships agenda across Government, including opportunities to work with prime contractors and suppliers in the supply chain to support training and apprenticeships.
