To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions for what reasons the board of Remploy did not undertake a consultation before advertising for a paid non-executive director; and if he will make a statement.

No consultation is required to appoint a non-executive director to the board of Remploy. This is a ministerial appointment and is currently being advertised by the Department for Work and Pensions.
