The previous Government's ageing strategy, ‘Building a Society for All Ages’ (2009), gave an undertaking to review the upper age limit for jury service. A public consultation ran from 16 March to 8 June 2010 and drew 44 responses. We are now considering the issue in the light of the consultation.
