To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what recent meetings she has had with ministerial colleagues to discuss threats to UK food security.

In working towards our commitment to address the issue of food security, DEFRA's ministerial team have taken many opportunities to raise our food security agenda with ministerial colleagues. We discuss this issue at Cabinet and other regular ministerial meetings.

DEFRA officials also regularly discuss food security and specific issues with their counterparts in other Government Departments.
