To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport how many regulations his Department has introduced (a) in the six months prior to 1 September 2010 and (b) in the six months after 1 September 2010 which it has determined do not impose costs on businesses.

Between 1 March and 1 September 2010, this Department did not introduce any regulations which do not impose costs on businesses.

In the six months after 1 September 2010, the Department introduced one statutory instrument, the Media Ownership (Radio and Cross-media) Order 2011, to remove the local cross media ownership rules the impact of introducing the regulation is net zero cost to business.
