To ask Her Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to assist British companies who are yet to receive payment from the Government of India for contracts relating to the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

The Government are aware of the difficulties that some British companies have had in receiving payment for services provided during the Commonwealth Games. We have raised our concerns with the Indian Government at ministerial level and our officials in the high commission in Delhi are in regular touch with senior officials across the many different ministries involved to try to find a resolution.
