To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what the (a) 10 and (b) 20 highest value trading partners with the UK were in (i) the latest period for which figures are available, (ii) 2005, (iii) 2000, (iv) 1995, (v) 1990, (vi) 1985 and (vii) 1981; and if he will make a statement.
The Office for National Statistics publishes data on the value of the United Kingdom’s exports, imports and trade balance broken down by trading partner. Data are available from 1992 to 2009 in the Pink Book and accompanying databases, available online at:
