The Royal Fleet Auxiliary will continue to operate a fleet of supply and support vessels scaled to meet the Navy's requirements. We are taking forward the findings of the value for money review of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary which were announced in the debate by the Minister for Defence Personnel, Welfare and Veterans, my right hon. Friend Mr Robathan, on 6 December 2010, Hansard, columns 137-46. Under the military afloat reach and sustainability programme we plan to begin replacing the existing single-hulled tankers and solid support ships with new ships later this decade.
