To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change whether he has any plans to extend the Community Energy Saving programme beyond the poorest 10 per cent. of local super output areas.

The Community Energy Saving Programme (CESP) is available to households in the lowest 10% of the Indices of Multiple Deprivation lower super output areas (LSOA) in England and the lowest 15% in Wales. In Scotland eligibility is based on the lowest 15% Data Zones.

These criteria are set out in the legislation governing the scheme, and there are no plans to amend that legislation.
