To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Baroness Garden of Frognal on 20 June (WA 260) that "neither the Department for Culture, Media and Sport nor their sporting bodies, UK Sport and Sport England, provided any funding towards the staging of the first test match between England and Sri Lanka", whether any other non-departmental public body provided any funding towards the staging of the first test match between England and Sri Lanka.

None of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport's (DCMS) arm's-length bodies (ALBs) provided any funding towards the staging of the first test match between England and Sri Lanka. DCMS does not hold this information for the ALBs of other government departments.
