Many of the young people participating in this year's School Games Level Three pilot events will be available for selection to compete in next year's School Games Level Four finals event. The National Governing Bodies of the sports participating in the finals will be responsible for selecting which young people compete. The Youth Sport Trust and Sport England are also exploring whether it is possible to showcase at next year's finals some of the best teams taking part in this year's pilots. Sports formats for next year's finals are still being agreed but are likely to mirror those of the 2011 Sheffield UK School Games.
