To ask Her Majesty's Government what is their assessment of the request by the government of India that they should have mode 4 access to European Union markets as a condition of a European Union-India free trade agreement; and what assessment they have made of any adverse affect mode 4 would have on wage levels in the United Kingdom.

The EU-India free trade agreement is still under negotiation. As part of the ongoing negotiation, we are assessing the requests India has made in mode 4. We expect the agreement to be consistent with the increased minimum salary requirements for intra-company transfers recently introduced by the Government.
