To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport whether he has considered the merits of introducing a right for property owners to appeal against decisions regarding listing buildings.

In England property owners and interested parties already have this right. They may seek a review of a listing decision within 28 days of the decision being made. Guidance including criteria is available on the Department's website:
