Information is not collected specifically on the number of sessional supervisors employed to supervise unpaid work in each probation trust. Information is however collected on the overall number of staff employed to supervise unpaid work in each probation trust and the latest figures available at 31 December 2010 are provided in the following table.

It is not possible to forecast future staffing levels of those supervising unpaid work, as the responsibility for resourcing levels lies with the individual probation trusts. It is for them to take the necessary action at a local level to ensure they can deliver the required service within available resources.
