The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my right hon. Friend the Member for Richmond (Yorks) (Mr Hague), has recently written to his Mauritanian counterpart and a number of official-level visits took place during 2010. We will continue our dialogue with Mauritania through ministerial contact and our ambassador in Rabat, who is accredited to Nouakchott.
