To ask the Secretary of State for Justice how many contracts his Department holds with IBM; and what the (a) purpose and (b) monetary value of each such contract is.

I can confirm that the Ministry of Justice have one contract with IBM and it is for the supply and maintenance of software. The contract value is £6.8 million for a period of three years.
